Bisley Pre-School was first started in 1983 and is a community Pre-School run by a committee of parent volunteers in accordance with our CIO Constitution , with the day to day running under the guidance of trained and caring staff.
We plan an individual curriculum for all our children, taking into account their own interests and abilities, on a weekly basis.
Each child is assigned a key worker, a member of staff, who is responsible for monitoring the development and progress of that child. The key worker maintains an up-to-date file mapping each child’s development.
We follow the Revised Early Years Foundation stage 2017 curriculum. For more information on this visit: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/596629/EYFS_STATUTORY_FRAMEWORK_2017.pdf
When the Children and Families Bill becomes enacted in 2014 local authorities will be required to publish and keep under review information from services that expect to be available for children and young people with SEND aged 0-25. The intention of this local offer is to improve choice and transparency for families. From the Local Offer parents and carers will know what they can reasonably expect from their local area.
